Healthy Feet is a friendly business, and I successfully treat many forms of foot and heel pain, some of the more common conditions I see every day and treat with the prescription orthotics listed under Foot Conditions. My first aim when you come in for Consultation is to diagnose your condition, then I will look at the best way to treat it and I will discuss treatment options with you. Many forms of Foot and Heel Pain react well and can be alleviated with the use of high quality prescription orthotics, these differ from “off the shelf models” because they are bespoke and made by prescription for your feet only. Application of the bespoke prescription orthotics in your shoes will help to support and comfort your feet, they promote the proper alignment of the feet and remove pressure from areas causing pain, they also improve your gait cycle and posture. Once I've got to the root of the cause of your foot and heel pain, other areas you may not have associated with your feet such as your neck, back and hips may also become pain free, particularly for those in professions where you are required to be on your feet all day. You wouldn’t buy a pair of “off the shelf varifocals” to correct your eyesight would you? And it’s the same with your feet where “off the shelf orthotics” are concerned. See the 3D Optical Laser Foot Scanner. You may rest assured, I will not prescribe orthotics if I cannot be certain they will alleviate your Foot and Heel Pain.
